JobPosting implementation check

Check a job page

Paste the JobPosting JSON-LD, or enter the URL of a public job page. Each check is reported as an error, a warning, or a pass.

What do you want to check?

A single object, an array, an @graph, or the full <script type="application/ld+json"> block.

Scope

What it checks

  • Identity: JobPosting type, title, and description.
  • Dates: datePosted and validThrough, including expired openings.
  • Hiring organization: name, and url or sameAs when supplied.
  • Employment: employmentType and directApply values.
  • Location: jobLocation, remote roles (TELECOMMUTE and applicant location), and placeholder addresses or postal codes.
  • Salary: currency, numeric value or range, unitText, empty or contradictory salary objects.
  • Page (URL mode): canonical, robots noindex, and whether the title, employer, and location appear in the visible page text.

Limitations

  • Only JSON-LD is read. Microdata and RDFa are not checked.
  • URL mode reads the initial HTML without running JavaScript, so content added by scripts is not compared.
  • Passing these checks does not mean a job will appear in any search feature.
  • Submitted markup, URLs, and fetched pages are analyzed for this request only and are not stored.
