Anonymized casework
Registration, renewal, and fee components were published as locale-display strings that disagreed with machine-readable Offer and PriceSpecification graphs. Answer engines and comparison surfaces mixed list prices, promo prices, and regional fees.
Record
Admission chain
For the same TLD and term length, visible storefront prices, API-backed checkout totals, and JSON-LD Offer nodes disagreed by currency, eligible region, and price type. Promo and renewal prices were often serialized as a single Offer.price without priceType or validThrough.
unavailable — withheld (client NDA): pre-change HTML captures of pricing matrices unavailable — withheld: JSON-LD Offer dumps for representative TLD × market cells unavailable — withheld: checkout quote logs for the same SKUs
Treat each sellable cell as a distinct Offer keyed by TLD/SKU × market × currency × price type (registration vs renewal vs promo), using PriceSpecification / UnitPriceSpecification rather than a single flattened display string. Prefer schema.org eligibleRegion and ISO 4217 priceCurrency over inferred locale.
Built a pricing source-of-truth export that emits Offer + UnitPriceSpecification nodes with priceType, priceCurrency, eligibleRegion, and validity windows; aligned HTML rendering and checkout quotes to the same export; nested related fee lines via OfferCatalog / addOn where fees were separable.
Re-extract Offer graphs for a frozen sample of TLD × market cells; compare price, currency, region eligibility, and priceType against the pricing SoT; confirm HTML visible price and checkout quote for the same cell match the active Offer.
unavailable — withheld: post-change JSON-LD extracts unavailable — withheld: SoT vs page vs checkout reconciliation sheet
For the verified sample cells, the active Offer price, currency, and eligible region matched the pricing source-of-truth and the visible storefront cell. Remaining disagreement classes were limited to markets not yet migrated onto the SoT export.
Technical verification only — no traffic, ranking, or citation-rate claims are published for this case.
Client identity, domains, and raw artifacts are withheld and cannot be independently inspected from this page. Verification covered a preregistered sample of markets/TLDs, not the entire catalog. No claim is made that AI answer engines immediately updated external citations after the release. Third-party marketplaces and WHOIS/aftermarket mirrors were out of scope.
