Frequently asked questions

What is AI Search Optimization?

AI Search Optimization evaluates and changes the source systems AI search uses to retrieve and cite an organization. It does not guarantee citations, rankings, or traffic.

How do I get started?

Book a consultation at nrlc.ai/en-us/book/. We review retrieval, citation, and source-system integrity. No obligation; response within 24 hours.

Do you work with small businesses?

Yes. We work with SMBs, mid-market companies, and enterprises. Scope follows your retrieval and citation requirements.

How long until we see results?

NRLC does not publish a timeline. The consultation covers what can be inspected now and what would have to be measured before any change is reported.

Do you serve Santa Monica and LA?

Yes. Neural Command is headquartered in Santa Monica and serves Los Angeles, California, and nationwide (including UK).

What is the difference between an AI search company and a traditional SEO company?

A traditional SEO company reports rankings and traffic. An AI search company reports both boards: classic rankings plus whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews name and cite you. The work is different too --- quotable answer blocks, entity clarity, structured data, and a fixed prompt set probed on a schedule. Neural Command LLC runs the audits against a published method and shows the gap list.

How does geotargeted AI search work?

The same prompt set is run with location language attached --- the city, the county, the service area --- and each answer is scored the same 0-to-3 way. Local AI visibility is won or lost on whether engines bind your entity to the place, which is co-occurrence: the name next to the category next to the geography, repeated across surfaces. Neural Command LLC measures the binding before it builds anything.

What does a professional AI search company actually do?

It mines the questions people prompt, builds one answer per question in extractable blocks, ships with schema and entity naming, then probes the same questions on a schedule and publishes the deltas --- including the zeros. If a vendor cannot show the prompt set or the gap list, the measurement is not happening. Neural Command LLC publishes its method instead of burying it.
